Principals

Robert H. Moran
Robert H. Moran is one of the nation’s premier management consultants and leadership coaches specializing in associations, nonprofits, and health care organizations. He brings vast experience as a leader (CEO) of numerous international and national organizations and blends it with exceptional education and training. His career reflects his passion and commitment to building and maintaining healthy organizations by enhancing the performance and capacity of organizations and people.
Beginning as a drug counselor in inner city Baltimore, his early career included consulting roles with the National Institute of Drug Abuse and a Chief Counselor role on a national traveling technical assistance team. He also served as the Director of Training and Supervision in a small private psychiatric hospital and as the executive director of a nationally recognized emergency shelter for runaway adolescents.
In 1979, he entered the association community as the CEO of an international human service association and subsequently has served as the CEO of five additional associations (two as the interim CEO). Most recently, he was as the COO and EVP of the world’s largest general aviation association with 210 staff members and a $60 million dollar budget.
Rob holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland and graduate degrees from Marymount University (MBA) and Harvard University (MPA).
A graduate of Georgetown University’s Leadership Coaching Program, he holds his coaching credential (ACC) from the International Coaching Federation.
He is also certified through the Center for Creative Leadership in the use of 360 assessment tools.

Nancy Simon Moran
Nancy Simon Moran, CPA, is an accomplished leader with a successful track record of transforming organizations. She brings a unique “right brain/left brain” blend to her work, combining strong academic training with the professional experience gained by working in both the business and nonprofit sectors.
Nancy’s overarching objective is to build capacity and provide strategic leadership for organizations. Working with both staff and boards, her work with organizations in transition has helped them achieve new levels of productivity, financial stability and strong governance.
Nancy’s early career in the counseling field provided her with a valuable understanding of individuals and systems that has continued to guide her work with nonprofits over the years. Work as a program evaluation specialist of a large countywide MH/MR/Substance Abuse organization honed her understanding of systems as well as individual work performance.
Nancy has strong business acumen and system strategies acquired from her years in public accounting, as the CEO of several nonprofit organizations, as well as her significant work with governing bodies.
Nancy holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Manhattanville College and advanced degrees from George Washington University (MAEd Rehabilitation Counseling) and Northeastern University (MS Accounting and MBA). She is also certified by the Center for Creative Leadership in 360 human resources assessment tools.
